“As faculty, we’ve always seen them through one lens, the students in a classroom,” said Moravian biology professor Cecilia Fox.
Dr. Bush works with four students on this project, and all students rotate on six-hour shifts to cover every 24 hours. This is to make sure the machines are working at all times, and to produce equipment faster. “We’ve already given St. Luke’s 240 stethoscopes.” said Dr. Bush. “We have 80 more that we’re going to deliver today and our goal next week is to get up to 500.”
The 2020 InFocus Town Hall showcases student research from 17 spring courses at Moravian College addressing Poverty and Inequality, Sustainability, Healthcare, and War, Peacebuilding and Justice, the InFocus “Challenge Areas”. 
For Moravian College, in Bethlehem, Pa., this kind of community partnership dates back centuries.
The InFocus Symposium will feature over fifty presentations from two different continents, five different states, and six different universities and colleges. The InFocus Symposium ‘20 is presented in memory of the late John V. Reynolds, professor of Political Science at Moravian College from 1979 through his death in January 2020.
Moravian College’s Associate Dean of Students, Liz Yates, said normally they have 1,100 students living on campus, but right now, they have a little less than 50. She said they’ve altered dining services to make sure students can still have food every day.
According to the Annual Report, Moravian College students completed 22,350 service hours at more than 65 different locations locally, across the country, and around the globe during the 2018-2019 academic year and 98% are currently employed or enrolled in post-graduate education.
St. Luke’s University Health Network and Lehigh Valley Health Network have approached Cedar Crest College, DeSales University, Moravian College, Muhlenberg College and Lehigh University about space for medical professionals to stay in if they need to self-quarantine or do not feel comfortable going home to their families after working with patients, the colleges confirmed.
Residence halls and dining facilities on all three campuses will remain open and students will have the opportunity to self-select where they choose to take their online classes, in their on-campus residence or at their homes.  
Verrone, founder and principal of Iron Hound Management in New York City established the Emilio and Grace Verrone Endowed Scholarship Fund to provide financial support to students that have demonstrated financial need, presented a strong academic record and show the potential to succeed at Moravian and beyond.
