Your Elevate undergraduate experience is all-encompassing—it’s challenging academics, engaging student life, global perspectives, hands-on career exploration and support, and the latest Apple technology. Every aspect is designed with your future in mind; we asked employers, alumni, and students for input on what skills and experiences they think Moravian graduates should have. Employers asked for real-world work experience, leadership and teamwork skills, communication, diverse perspectives, and more. We answered with Elevate, a game-changing, career-focused education that is your expressway to marketability and prepares you to stand out to potential employers or graduate schools. Begin your journey

When you make the decision to participate in Elevate, you’ll be immersed in the college experience. Whether you choose to enter Elevate as a freshman, transfer student, or even as a senior—you can complete this experience with proper planning and commitment. During the first part of your journey, your advisor and career strategist will help guide your studies and extracurricular pursuits, and introduce you to what you need to successfully complete Elevate. You’ll learn about the three areas of focus, which include Teamwork and Leadership, Global Experience, and Career Support.

Explore your options

Here your academic pursuits and goals will come into focus—but not before you’ve explored all your options and passions! If you haven’t already declared your major, now is your time. You may also begin considering how you’d like to shape the rest of your Elevate experience at Moravian, perhaps with a Global Greyhound study abroad experience or our teamwork and leadership program RISE. And if you can’t fit your study abroad experience in Year 2, don’t worry! You have the opportunity throughout your time at Moravian to take advantage of all that Elevate has to offer.

Immerse yourself in the experience

Dive deeper into your academics and begin thinking about what you want to do with your degree. Your support team, including your career strategist, will help you gain the hands-on experiences and leadership skills employers and graduate schools are looking for. We provide opportunities for you to network, land that internship or shadow experience, take part in a service learning project, or decide if an undergraduate research opportunity is right for you.

Prepare for what's next

Your final year at Moravian is the culmination of all your hard work—this is your time to shine. Soak up every ounce of knowledge from your faculty mentors, advisors, and career strategists as you prepare for what’s next. Take advantage of all that our Center for Career and Civic Engagement offers: assistance with cover letter and resumé writing, developing your LinkedIn profile, preparing for interviews or graduate school, and more. You’ll leave Moravian University confident to further your education and achieve a fulfilling career.

We'll Light the Way

Your Elevate experience spans your entire undergraduate education at Moravian University, beginning before you step foot on campus for your first year and expanding well past graduation, should you need continued support. These years are yours to mold, but you won’t be without the support and resources to guide you through.
