Vision Insurance Plans

Moravian University offers two vision insurance plans to benefits-eligible employees, spouse/ domestic partner and/ or eligible dependents. Dependent children are eligible to remain on the employee's vision plan until age 26.

Basic Plan

  • Plan summary - Basic
  • Exams/ contact lens fitting are covered 100%
  • Lenses covered 100% (additional lens options may be extra)
  • Frame allowance valid once every 2 calendar years = $60
  • Contact lenses (in lieu of lenses & frame) = $85

Enhanced Plan

  • Plan summary - Enhanced
  • Exams/ contact lens fitting are covered 100%
  • Lenses covered 100% (additional lens options may be extra)
  • Frame allowance valid once every 2 calendar years = $100
  • Contact lenses (in lieu of lenses & frame) = $100

Plan details are based on participating providers. Non-participating provider charges will cost more out of pocket.
