Art Club
Art Club meets weekly to chat about art and life. New people are always welcome and do not have to be an art major or minor to join. Please check Facebook and Instagram for meetings and upcoming events.
Art Club sponsors activities related to the visual arts, which are open to the entire Moravian University community. Activities have included:
- Trips to art exhibitions at galleries and museums. One overnight trip is planned annually every spring. Past overnight trips were to the Hudson Valley, Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Boston.
- Attending local First Friday art events in Bethlehem.
- Art workshops in a variety of media and techniques.
- Visiting artist lectures.
- Opportunities to exhibit work on-campus and off-campus.
- Arranging and installing exhibitions in the HUB H. Paty Eiffe Gallery and Space 105.
- Participating in campus events, including homecoming banner contest.
- Mural painting. For example, members of the Art Club painted a holiday mural in a local business and received a generous gift.
