Our Mission

The Moravian University Interprofessional Simulation Center strives to transform learners’ educational experiences to ensure the development of qualities required for future practice.  Simulation, embedded across programs, fosters self-reflection through experiential learning, promotes innovative research across the continuum of care, and prepares students for excellence in their professional environments. The simulation center advances evidence-based strategies that successfully develop professionals who are mindfully engaged in teams and as leaders locally, nationally, and globally.

“The simulation center reinforces our classroom learning and makes it much easier to tie it to real-world patient care. It allowed me to practice skills that I’ll use as a nurse, allowing me to gain confidence before using those skills on a real patient.”
