Reapplying for Financial Aid: Current Undergraduate Students
Hey current Greyhounds! Did you know that some resources on your financial aid offer don't automatically renew from year-to-year? While your Moravian University merit-aid can be renewed each year at the same value as long as you achieve Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain full-time enrollment, any need-based aid and federal student loans requires reassessment of your demonstrated financial need. If you plan on taking classes at the university during the upcoming academic year and wish to be considered for any aid beyond merit scholarships and specialty awards, please don’t forget to re-apply!
While the FAFSA usually launches annually on October 1 on studentaid.gov, it's launching a little later this year. We strongly encourage you to complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as it's available. Submitting your FAFSA early ensures that we receive the application and can review your information to prepare and provide you with a financial aid offer in a timely fashion.

Reapplication Process for 2025-2026 Students
You're just three steps away from reapplying for financial aid. Yes, it’s really that easy!
Step 1: Complete your FAFSA
Need-based institutional aid and federal student aid (including Pell Grant, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Federal Direct Loans, and Federal Work Study) resources don't automatically renew from one year to the next. In order to be considered for these resources, you need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. It’s important to know that you may also need to achieve Satisfactory Academic Progress, remain enrolled as a full-time student, and maintain other eligibility factors to continue receiving these resources.
The 2025–26 FAFSA will be available online at studentaid.gov in December 2024. We strongly encourage all students to complete and submit your FAFSA as soon as possible. Submitting your FAFSA early ensures that we receive the application and can review your information to prepare and provide you with a financial aid offer in a timely fashion.
Step 2: Apply for State Grant
For applicants who reside in Pennsylvania: The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) has a State Grant Application deadline of May 1. Be sure to submit your FAFSA before May 1 for consideration. You'll receive an email from PHEAA shortly after your complete your FAFSA with login instructions to submit any additional information that they need.

Step 3: Submit Any Additional Info Requested
Financial Aid Services may need additional information from you in order to estimate or finalize your financial aid eligibility. Be sure to check your voicemails, texts, emails, mail, and AMOS Financial Aid Portal to see if you’ve missed a message from your financial aid advisor regarding the status of your financial aid.
What’s Next?
Once you've completed Steps 1-3, the Office of Financial Aid Services will prepare a personalized financial aid offer for you and post it to your AMOS Financial Aid Portal. You'll receive an email notification from finaid@moravian.edu once your offer is available for review.
- Your offer includes all primary and estimated financial aid resources that you qualify for, based on the information known to the Office of Financial Aid Services at that time. Please note that your offer will not be finalized until Financial Aid Services is able to confirm that you have achieved Satisfactory Academic Progress.
- After receiving your financial aid offer, please thoroughly review all details listed. Get in touch with Financial Aid Services to talk about your offer and aid eligibility, as well as affordability, available payment/financing options, and any questions or special circumstances that you may have.
