Participate in Events
There's more than one way to grab the attention of our students (and believe us—you'll want their attention!). Scroll down for all the ways you can make your company or service organization visible on campus.
Volunteer and Internship Fair
The Volunteer and Internship Fair hosted by Moravian University takes place each fall semester. Community partners along with non-profit and for profit organizations visit campus to meet with students about volunteering and internships. If interested in participating in the next Volunteer and Internship Fair, please contact careercivic@moravian.edu.
Lunch & Learn Information Sessions
Information sessions can be a great way to present background information and career opportunities in your organization and industry. Information sessions are typically held as Lunch & Learn brown bag discussions, but can be tailored to meet the needs of individual employers. If interested in hosting a Lunch & Learn, session please contact the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at careercivic@moravian.edu.
Information Tables
Employers are able to coordinate one information table per semester to distribute information about their organization to the campus community. Information tables are housed in the Haupert Union Building, typically over the student lunch hours from 11am-1pm. If you are interested in arranging an information table, please contact the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at careercivic@moravian.edu.
Career Connections Externship Program
Externships are designed to allow students observational experiences with a professional at their place of work while experiencing a “day in the life” in the host’s career. These experiences are meant to help the students gain an understanding of what the daily responsibilities include in the careers of professionals.
Externships typically take place over Winter Break and registration begins the prior fall. If interested in participating as a host for an externship, please contact the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at careercivic@moravian.edu.
Host a Civic Engagement Fellow
Civic Engagement Fellows are students selected to participate in this unique program. Fellows participate in over 200 hours of community service related activities at a chosen site during the academic year. The role of the Fellow is to serve as a special connection between the non-profit organization and Moravian University. If your organization is interested in obtaining a Civic Engagement Fellow, please contact the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at careercivic@moravian.edu.
Become a 1742 Experience Host Site
The 1742 Experience is a week-long pre-orientation program for incoming freshmen at Moravian University. During the week before the fall semester begins, a selected group of students complete service activities at local non-profit organizations. To inquire further about this program, please email the Center for Career and Civic Engagement at careercivic@moravian.edu.
