Men's Soccer
Goal is 100 supporters
Moravian University Men’s Soccer has a rich tradition of success on the pitch. Most recently the Greyhounds earned trips to the Landmark Conference Playoffs in 2018, 2019, 2023 and most recently in 2024. In 2021 the team was regionally ranked for two weeks after winning the Brick City Tournament with wins over TCNJ and host Rutgers Newark. In 2022 the team played one of the toughest schedules in the country that included three teams that were ranked in the top ten in the country including number one Messiah. Four opponents were nationally ranked in 2023 including Montclair who was sixth in the country and Washington College (10-1-5) who went to the Final Four.
Your generous contributions in the past helped fund the men’s soccer trip to England in January of 2022. The trip included three three games played, and attending three professional games including Manchester City against Chelsea in the FA Cup. We also spent a day at St. George’s Park which is the training center for England’s National Team. We are looking to take the team to Europe again in 2026.
This year your donations will help fund our opening weekend overnight trip to Washington College, tracking software that will allow coaches to develop student-athletes technically and physically, as well as starting to fundraise for our European trip in 2026.
Help us score as we reach our goal of 100 supporters. When we hit our goal, team captain Don Powell ’68 will give a challenge gift to soccer!
