BETHLEHEM, PA, April 28, 2022: Today, Moravian University announced the new trustees who were elected to the respective boards for Moravian University and Moravian Theological Seminary. The trustees are approved at the Moravian University Board meeting and the Moravian Theological Seminary Board meeting, respectively. There was a vote of affirmation at the Joint Board meeting, held on April 22, 2022.
Members of the Moravian University Board of Trustees take on many duties and responsibilities, including strategic planning and oversight of the university president, who is responsible for carrying out the plans of the board of trustees. Under the leadership of board chairman Brian Oswald, the trustees offer advice and counsel to Moravian University President Bryon Grigsby.
“Moravian is fortunate to have trustees who are so invested in the success of the university,” said Bryon Grigsby, president of Moravian University. “We value the input we receive from all of our trustees. It’s an exciting time when these new appointees are elected, they bring a fresh perspective and different voices that provide critical guidance regarding the strategic initiatives proposed to benefit the entire university.”
At the recent Board of Trustees meeting the following appointments were announced:

- Mr. Pat Corpora '78, president, Corpora Consulting
- Mr. Hugh Norwood '90, founder and CEO of Trinity Education Group
- Mr. Michael Stoudt, Jr. '87, partner at RKL advisory firm
- Mr. Woodrow Battle '19, public sector advisory consultant, Baker Tilly
Seminary Faculty Trustee:
- Rev. Dr. Riddick Weber, associate professor of pastoral ministry, Moravian Theological Seminary
University Faculty Trustee:
- Dr. Paulette Dorney, associate professor, director of accelerated BSN program, Moravian University
