Morning Star Soloist
The music and candlelight service are the two main attractions of the Vespers program, however there is yet a third star, which is the tradition of having a child soloist perform “Morning Star.” Every year, children of Moravian University faculty, staff, and choir alumni are invited to audition to become the Vesper Soloist. It is a big role for such a young person, however with some nurturing guidance and lots of practice, they are always ready to shine.
