The partnership will allow CIU 20 employees and stakeholders to take advantage of discounts on college’s HR Specialization programs
BETHLEHEM, PA, April 29, 2020: Today, Moravian College announced a partnership with Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 (CIU 20) to offer CIU 20 employees and stakeholders across the IU 20 region; including 13 public school districts, nonpublic schools, and charter schools discounted tuition and access to the Human Resource Specializations offered by Moravian College. CIU 20 provides educational support to 79,000 public school children in Northampton, Monroe, and Pike Counties in Eastern Pennsylvania.
“CIU 20 and Moravian have been discussing this partnership for some time and with the agreement now signed, we’re thrilled to begin working with their dedicated public school employees,” commented Dr. Katie P. Desiderio, assistant vice president, Corporate-Educational Partnerships at Moravian College. “The HR in Public Schools certificate is the first of its kind and ensures they can earn critical continuing education through a trusted partner.”
Through this partnership, Moravian College can provide access to CIU 20 employees interested in the human resource specialization programs, generate revenue for CIU 20 via a revenue share agreement and waive the application fee and online course fee for their employees, and others in the IU 20 region, enrolling in the programs.
