Class Audits

Alumni who wish to audit an undergraduate or Seminary class can do so, provided the class has open space, by following the process detailed below. Auditing a class allows the alum to regularly attend the class and participate without receiving a grade or credit for the course.

Enrollment

To audit a class, begin the enrollment process by completing this form. If you are interested in auditing an undergraduate class, contact the Graduate & Continuing Studies Office at graduate@moravian.edu. If you are interested in auditing a Seminary class, contact Rev. Dr. Diane Bogues at boguesd@moravian.edu. If you have questions about the form or finding a course of interest that is open and available for audit, contact the enrollment team.

Tuition

Alumni may audit an undergraduate class for $100 per course and a Seminary class for $300 per course.

Exceptions

The professor has the right to refuse anyone to audit their course. Students may not register to audit independent study, internship, studio art, applied music and music ensembles, Writing 101, nursing clinical courses, or other courses that, by nature, are inappropriate for auditors, as determined by the University. Auditing is available on a space-available basis only; if the course is closed, auditors will not be accepted.

AES/PHEAA Loan Consolidation

  • Repay your Loans
After you graduate, drop to a less-than-part-time status, or are no longer enrolled in a degree-seeking program, repayment will begin after your six-month deferment period ends. Visit studentloans.gov to learn more about payment plans, payment deferment, and payment forbearance options that are available to you.
  • Loan Servicer/Direct Loan Consolidation

The loan servicer will work with you on repayment plans, loan consolidation, and other tasks related to your federal student loan. It is important to maintain contact with your loan servicer. If your circumstances change at any time during your repayment period, your loan servicer will be able to help. For more information about loan servicers, visit the Federal Student Aid Loan Servicer website.
