Pearl

Pearl ‘21, Resource Access Coordinator at the Community Foodbank of NJ 

“Moravian University's Public Health Program provided me with first-hand experience to practice public health skills through internships and projects that prepared me for the AmeriCorps and my role as a resource access coordinator. The program taught me to engage in my community in a culturally competent way, which allows me to approach food insecurity by considering the social determinants of health. The success of my public health degree and my continued interests are because of the public health faculty whose dedication and skills were integral in our learning and brought the classes to life.”


Kayla

Kayla ‘21, MPH, Associate Policy Analyst at the United Network for Organ Sharing

Kayla earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from the George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health

“Moravian University's Public Health Program provided me with the foundational concepts to advance my graduate school education and professional career in organ transplant policy. I learned skills in creating health infographics and public health logic models. I’m excited to apply my public health skills and knowledge to real-world policy.”


Shae '19, MPH, Biostatistician at Lehigh Valley Health Network

Shae earned her Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health 

“Moravian University's Public Health Program ignited my passion for epidemiology and statistics, and it gave me the foundation to understand clinical data. The mentorship I received set me on the right path to attend Emory University for my MPH where I was able to work at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and gain national-level public health exposure. I had several internships at Moravian, including one that directly led to my current full-time job! As a biostatistician, I work on investigator-initiated research studies including design, database development, statistical analysis, and final products development."

Liam earned his Master of Public Health with a concentration in Environmental and Occupational Health from Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health

Merwa earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Sociomedical Sciences from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health; Certified Health Education Specialist
