Women's Tennis

Goal is 90 supporters

The Moravian University Women’s Tennis team finished the 2022-2023 season with an 18-4 record, making it to the Landmark Conference Championship final. Moravian played in the Landmark Conference Championship match for the fourth straight season that the tournament has been held, and eighth time overall since the conference began in 2007-08. The Greyhounds have five Landmark Conference titles and 13 overall conference championships. Last year, seniors Maddie Figiel and Cristina Merone became the first duo in program history to win 20 doubles matches in a season to finish the year with a 20-2 doubles slate. A total of four Greyhounds received All-Conference first and second team honors in singles and doubles. In the classroom, the women's team once again received the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) All-Academic Team Award and had four players selected as ITA Scholar-Athletes.

Our involvement in the community continues to be a priority for our program. Once again, our teams partnered with USTA Love Serving Autism as well as two well-known campus events that celebrate Moravian tradition–Heritage Day and Christmas Vespers.

Your generous contributions to the women’s tennis program will help fund the team’s spring break trip to Florida. In addition, additional funds will go towards video software to help with player development, a ball machine, and new windscreens.

Help us ace our goal of 90 supporters. When we hit our goal, team captains Morgan Colver ’22 and Maddie Figiel '23 will make challenge gifts that will be added to the team totals!
