Men's Tennis
Goal is 60 supporters
The Moravian University Men's Tennis team concluded the 2023-2024 season with an impressive 17-5 record, including a strong 7-2 in conference play. This marks a school record for victories, surpassing last year's total of 16. The team secured the #3 seed in the Landmark Conference Tournament, making its second consecutive playoff appearance.
We are proud to announce that four players earned All-Conference honors in various categories, including singles, doubles, honorable mention, and sportsmanship. Additionally, the men's team excelled academically, receiving the ITA All-Academic Team award, with five players earning individual accolades.
Community involvement remains a cornerstone of our program. For the third straight year, our team partnered with USTA Love Serving Autism and participated in two cherished campus events, Heritage Day and Christmas Vespers, which celebrate Moravian traditions.
Your generous contributions to the men’s tennis program will help fund our spring break trip to Orlando, Florida. Additional funds will support our annual membership for statistics and video software (including necessary equipment), team bonding activities, and next year’s three-day individual ITA tournament. Thank you for your continued support!
Help us ace our goal of 60 supporters. When we hit our goal, team captains William (Rick) Eberts, Jr. ’73 and Paul Sommers ’83 will give a challenge gift to tennis!
