Men's Soccer

Goal is 115 supporters

Moravian University Men’s Soccer has a rich tradition of success on the pitch. The Greyhounds earned their first trip to the Landmark Conference Playoffs in 2018 and followed it up with another trip to the playoffs in 2019. In 2021 the team was regionally ranked for two weeks after winning the Brick City Tournament with wins over TCNJ and host Rutgers Newark. In 2022 the team played one of the toughest schedules in the country that included three teams that have been ranked in the top ten in the country including number one Messiah. This year we have again played a very competitive schedule. Four of our opponents have been regionally ranked including nationally ranked Montclair who is currently sixth in the country. We also won the Athey Cup by tying host Washington College (10-1-5) and beating Stevenson.

Your generous contributions this past year helped fund the men’s soccer trip to England from January 8th to the 15th. The trip included three practices, three games played, and three professional games including Manchester City against Chelsea in the FA Cup. We also spent a day at St. Georges Park, which is the training center for England’s National Team.

This year your donations will help fund our opening weekend overnight trip next year, video equipment, and tracking software that will allow coaches to develop student-athletes technically and physically and to help scout opponents.

Help us score as we reach our goal of 115 supporters. When we hit our goal, team captains Don Powell ’68 and Todd Sturza ’92, P’23 will give challenge gifts that will be added to the team totals!
