Moravian University Football has a rich tradition with a high standard of academic and athletic success on and off the field. Team history includes three conference/league titles, two NCAA appearances, and five ECAC appearances.
The 2024 season marks the 98th team in Moravian history to represent our University. We are currently 6-3 (4-1) and tied for 2nd place in the Landmark Conference. We lost a shootout to #6 Susquehanna and clinched our first winning season and bowl berth in a decade with a Senior Day victory over Lycoming! We now are preparing to battle Wilkes University to determine our seeding for the Chesapeake Bowl Series. Your donations from a year ago helped us prepare our young men and their bodies for the battles that lie ahead in the coming weeks!
Your generous donations this year will be put to good use for Greyhound Football. Our roster has grown to over 100 players compared to 75 a year ago. Our Hounds have shown this year that they have the drive and skill to compete with anyone in the country. Where we need your help is fueling our Hounds to take the next step in the offseason. Championships are won in the weight room, and we are raising money to give our Hounds the tools to become true “Iron Hounds.” Every dollar we raise during this challenge will go directly to our current players to supply them with a pair of Under Armour training sneakers to use for the year and for each player to have pre and post workout nutrition five days a week from January through December of the coming year (Team #99 training timeline). Providing our Hounds with these tools will help us take the next step on the field as we compete for Landmark Conference titles and a berth in the NCAA playoffs.
Help us score a touchdown as we reach our goal of 140 supporters! When we hit our goal, team captains Francis Garvin ’99, David Givler ’15, and Kurt Poling ’89, P’17, P’20 will give a challenge gift to football!
Additionally, if we raise $15,000, an anonymous parent has generously pledged to match all gifts with an additional $15,000 to support Moravian Football!
