  • Your Out-Of-Pocket Cost After Elevate Credit has been Applied (Valued at $2,600 for eligible students): $399
  • For all travelers:
    • Insurance Fee:  $90 charged directly to your Student Account
    • Recommended for Meals & Personal Funds: $500 (Only daily breakfast and one dinner is included)
    • Tuition: None, this is a travel experience with no credit associated.

All the landmarks mentioned in this itinerary will be visited. Some changes may be made in the order they will be visited depending upon the weather.

Day 1: Fly from the US to Athens, Greece

Day 2: Sightseeing in Athens with a guided five hour walking tour. We will visit the Acropolis and its museum, the Panathinkaikon Stadium (the site of the first Olympic Games), and visit the Parliament House, and drive along Panepistimiou Avenue to view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library.

Day 3: Surprise activity!

Day 4: Day trip to Delphi and Arachova with a tour introducing the history of the most significant archaeological site of all antiquity. Visit the Delphi archeological site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See incredible monuments from Ancient Greece like the Temple of Apollo and visit the Delphi Archeological Museum to see the Charioteer of Delphi. We end the day with a stop at Arachova, a picturesque mountain village, famous for its bright multi colored carpets.

Day 5: Day trip to Mycenae and Epidarus, driving along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf. Mycenae is known as the kingdom "Rich in Gold" and referenced in one of Homer's epics. We will then visit Nafplio (Nauplion), Greece's first capital, and Epidaurus, known for its ancient, 12,000 person ampitheater built during ancient Greek times.

Day 6: Travel from Athens to Hydra island, where we will stay for one night. There will be a 1.5 hour walking tour to learn about the 400 years of Turkish rule and Hydra's history of being the richest locale in the Mediterranean from shipbuilding and trade. We will visit various monuments such as the Monastery of the Assumption
of the Virgin Mary, the Merchant Marine Academy, the Monument of N. Kolmaniatis, the Statues of A. Lignos & A. Ekonomou and of A. Miaoulis, Square of the Five Hydriot Prime Ministers, Rafalias Pharmacy, Artists square, Mansion of P. Koudouriotis and Sophia Loren’s windmill.

Day 7: Morning hike on Hydra, the only car-free island in Greece, where we will explore old footpaths and mule trails and passing monasteries, chapels, forests, rural settlements and endless views of the sea. We will return to Athens in the afternoon.

Day 8: Fly from Athens, Greece to the US.
