Bethlehem's Live Advent Calendar

Bethlehem, Pa., November 21, 2014—Moravian College's Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia will be performing at Bethlehem's Live Advent Calendar event on Tuesday December 2, at 5:00 p.m. The group will perform on the steps of the Bethlehem Visitor's Center on Main Street a few building north of the Hotel Bethlehem. The event is free and open to the public.

The Live Advent Calendar is a one of a kind event that takes place in Bethlehem each year to count down the days until Christmas. The merchants of the Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA), a council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with Historic Bethlehem Partnership (HBP) provide a special treat to the visitors every day at 5:30 p.m. Crowds of up to 300 gather for the 10 minute program.

The Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is the world’s oldest and largest secret national fraternal society in music. For over a century, Sinfonians in nearly every field of study and professional endeavor have transformed music in America. The object of the Fraternity is for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit; the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students; the advancement of music in America and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.
