Moravian College’s Hometown Named to Huffington Post’s 10 Most Beautiful Fall Towns 2015 List
When you live, work, and study in Bethlehem, Pa., you don’t always stop to take in the breathtaking views of the Lehigh Valley mountain ridge, now turning beautiful shades of amber and red, take the time to sip a hot apple cider at one of the many seasonal festivals, or block out a Sunday afternoon trip to one of the area’s many pumpkin patches and apple orchards.
But to an outsider, Bethlehem is a fall lover’s pumpkin-spiced paradise. That’s why Huffington Post named the city one of the 10 most beautiful places in the United States to visit in the fall.
The list, featured in the Travel section of the internationally-known online news destination, includes across the country, including from Colorado, California, Oregon, and New Hampshire.
In the story, Moravian College’s hometown is lauded for its ghost tours and harvest festivals, scenic railways and state parks that let you walk amongst the fall foliage, and kid-friendly destinations like the Crayola Experience and Da Vinci Science Center—all components of a perfect fall weekend.
