Teaching: Corporate and public finance, investments, economics, and statistics. Research: Securitization of property taxes, determinants of municipal bond ratings, and stock valuation models.
Biography
Dr. Ravelle received her bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania and her MBA and PhD in business and economics from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Her doctoral research focused on the effect of pension liabilities on municipal bond ratings. Dr. Ravelle is advisor to the Amrhein Investment Club that manages over $1.5 million of the University’s endowment. She received the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching in 1998 and served on the Moravian University Board of Trustees for four years.
