About You

What is your personal motto?

Living well is the best revenge.

How do you spend your free time?

At Lake Wallenpaupack.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I minored in French.

Who is your favorite musician/band/performer and why?

Post Malone because I love the vibe.

About Your Experience

Who at Moravian most influenced you?

Dr. James Ravelle. I had a January term with Dr. Ravelle that was Introduction to Wall Street and Investing. The one-month, concentrated course captured my attention and led me to change my major from education to business. After that, I took as many courses instructed by Dr. Ravelle as possible. It was the catalyst that pushed me toward my current career as a certified financial planner and financial advisor.

Share your favorite memory from Moravian.

Winning the 1988 MAC Football Championship. We had the best record (10–2) in school history (still standing). It was Moravian football’s first-ever NCAA appearance and first-ever win in the NCAA Playoffs. We hosted and won the first-ever NCAA football playoff game at Calvo Field before a packed house! The whole Moravian community was fired up and engaged. It was awesome! We finished the season ranked sixth in the country.

What was your favorite meal in the dining hall?

Everything!

What advice would you give to a current student?

Manage your time wisely. Do the assigned reading.

About Lighting the Way

Why is it important for you to serve/volunteer?

Giving back to your community is essential for its survival and growth.

How do you believe Lighting the Way will help our students, their future, and the next generation?

It will help to keep Moravian up-to-date, relevant, and competitive.

What are you most excited to see Lighting the Way make possible for Moravian?

The new Haupert Union Building (HUB). I envision the new HUB being an impressive facility. I believe our students will take pride in it, and I think it will be a great place to congregate, relax, and share the Moravian experience. I also think it will help recruit prospective new students.
