UPMC RN to BSN Pathway Program
Free to UPMC Nurses
Moravian's discounted rate is under UPMC's tuition reimbursement cap so nurses may complete their BSN with no out-of-pocket cost.
Credit for What Nurses Know
Moravian automatically awards 24 credits for the RN license and recognizes professional certifications, i.e., CCRN, CEN, CNOR, CPN, through Prior Learning Assessment.
MSN Direct Admission
Moravian offers a direct admission pathway into select MSN programs upon BSN completion, offering a seamless path from RN to BSN to the MSN program.
Built for Working Nurses
With free applications, rolling admissions, and decisions provided within one week, students can get started without waiting for a traditional semester start date. Courses are offered fully online in convenient 6- and 8-week sessions.

UPMC Employee and Employee Family Member Tuition Discount
Moravian University offers a significant tuition discount* on the following programs to full-time and part-time UPMC employees and employee family members:
- Nursing Degrees and Certificates
- Business Degrees and Certificates
- Behavioral and Community Health Degrees and Certificates
- Doctor of Athletic Training program
- Speech-Language Pathology Doctorate
- Post-Professional Occupational Therapy Doctorate
- Doctor of Science in Health Sciences
- Adult Bachelor’s Degree Completion
* Accelerated BSN, Associate Degrees, BS Aviation Management, BS Professional Pilot, DPT, MSAT, MSOT, MSLP, MED, MAT, and Teacher Certification programs are excluded from the tuition discount.
Undergraduate Students
UPMC Family Discount
Each eligible UPMC employee family member admitted to Moravian University to pursue their first bachelor’s degree as a full-time undergraduate student starting Fall 2026 may receive a $1,000 scholarship in addition to their admission scholarship. This scholarship is not retroactive if you are a current Moravian student. Be sure to complete the eligibility form below to ensure you are considered for this award.
Eligibility
Family members of UPMC employees (including spouses, children, parents and/or legal guardians, and siblings) are eligible for the UPMC Family Discount at Moravian University.
Prospective students will complete an online form to confirm eligibility. The UPMC Family Discount is for new students starting in the Fall 2026 semester or later. This discount begins immediately and is not retroactive.
Please note that your parent must inform us of their employer before completing your FAFSA. This award may not be applicable after receipt of your financial aid package if we do not have this information ahead of time.
